New Re-released titles are starting to appear! Hometown Collection 2014-update

Finally! The new (well, not new really) Hometown Collection Puzzles by Heronim are beginning to show up. I have seen 6 new re-releases on eBay:

Amish Harvest

Grand Peacock Hotel-The colors seem more brilliant on the new box, but since I don't have the new puzzle yet, I can't say whether the puzzle colors have changed also.

Morning in Maine

Maple Sugaring #2

Mushroom Farm

And Rhode Island in the Spring. I don't recall seeing this before. Perhaps it was released under a different title.

I have not yet seen these in my local stores here in NJ but my stores always seem to be far behind in deliveries. I will keep everyone updated with news as soon as it comes in!

Changes they are a comin' Hometown Collection by Heronim

So. Recently I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful person. Her name is Erika and she is a fellow puzzler from Michigan. She has spent countless hours researching the Hometown Collection puzzles by Heronim. The fruit of her labor is a spreadsheet she created with every possible detail you could possibly want to know about Hometown Collection puzzles. Erika has been generous enough to share her spreadsheet with me so now I am in possession of a definitive list of puzzle designs and their corresponding release dates. She also made me realize that my blog is in serious need of correction.

Consequently, I will be updating my entire blog to match Erika's information. I will start with the oldest releases and work my way up to the current day. Thank you Erika, for all your hard work and sharing your collected information with your fellow puzzlers!

UPDATE!!! 2014 Hometown Collection Puzzles New Releases

So I heard back from Mega Puzzle! 

Here is my email to them: 

Hello!

Is it true that there will be new designs out in the Heronim Hometown Collection Series 1000pc in late July 2014?

And their response was:

Hello!

Hometown will have some special re-releases this July. The brand new titles will be released in the fall. :)

So there you have it! There will be some re-released designs in July. And the new 2014 Hometown Collection puzzle designs won't be out until the Fall 2014

2014 Hometown Collection Puzzles New Releases

Just heard a rumor that yes, there will be NEW Hometown Collection puzzle designs released in 2014. The new puzzles are expected to hit the market in late July 2014. I have not definitively confirmed this with Mega Puzzle but I am fairly certain we will see them soon. No word yet on design titles. As soon as I have more information, I will let my fellow puzzle fans know!
